I closed and restarted TextEdit but it is still not working. I changed the settings to plain text but the submit button fails to show up.

Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

Yeah, sure. We can Zoom and you can share your screen and I can help you go thru it. Now is fine if you want? If not, maybe later tonight? Tomorrow will be hard as I'm traveling a lot but then Friday is pretty open. Let me know, ok?
I thought I did that but its still not working. Is it possible to still set up a zoom?
Yeah when you see that ruler and those buttons for bolding and italicizing text listed across the top of the TextEdit panel, you know you are not in Plain Text mode. You need to get into Plain Text mode and then close and reopen TextEdit. And then you need to paste all that HTML code into the TextEdit Plain Text window. But you can't paste it in if it has all those rich text controls across the top, like bold and italics. It has to be a pane where those don't show up - that would be a Plain Text panel.
