I followed the directions that is posted about set 117 and still received an email that my lead could not be created. I think I may have made a mistake at step 49 when putting in the record id in the value slot. When I pasted the record owner id that was given and hit tab, it did not give me the option to change it to "$Record> Owner Id"

The problem is that you made at least one mistake when you set the settings for your Flow and now it doesn't work. So it blocks any new lead from being created. You'll have to delete your Flow and recreate it by doing Steps 34-71 again. But it takes some steps just to delete it:

Once you've done that, redo 34-71 and be sure you get every setting right. Then it should work when you do Step 117, unless you make mistakes again.
