I am unable to reset the password for Riley in step 21 because I put her email in as the email I created for salesforce and not my gmail that I have access to. How can I edit Riley's account information to change it to my gmail so I can reset the password?

Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

Easy, just go to Setup > Users > Users and click on Riley and click Edit and change her email to whatever and click Save. Then, SF will send a verification email to that address. You'll have to open it and click the link to verify and then the change will be completed.
