Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

I completed max labs 3a/3b but I cant use the grading software because it says that my sales force account is too old (im using the same account from a previous semester). I also tried making a whole new email and sales force account but now it will not allow me to install the tool to the new account.
I see. You’re still logging into the old account that already had the grading app. That’s why it’s saying you can’t upgrade. You need to log into your nee account. Be sure to use the new Username and pw. Maybe open a private/incognito window and just enter login.salesforce.com and go from there.
Im sorry maybe Im not explaining this well. Basically I completely created a new email and new sales force account and signed out of my old salesforce account. Now that I am in the new salesforce account I have been trying to re-install the max grading app but this is the error I keep getting when I do.
Wait, you're saying you're having trouble making a new Salesforce account but you also say you made a new Salesforce account. Help me understand what you mean when you say the grader app can't install into the new account. Are there any error messages? Embed a screencap so I can see what's going on, ok?

You can definitely install into a new account but if you're seeing that message about "This app can't be upgraded" you are logged into the old account where the grader app appears already, not the new one. Log out and be sure to log it the new account using the new Username and you will be able to install just fine.
If you need to, use a different browser or a private/incognito window in your current browser to go to login.salesforce.com and then be sure you're logging in with the new Username into the new acccount. Then you can install the grader.
