Hello,
I am having trouble after step 14. After I drag the .cvs file to upload and click next, there is an icon that pops up telling me that I need to map the required field Meeting Data, and it will not let me continue. I have been stuck on this for quite a while now and have even repeated the steps multiple times to make sure I did everything correctly.
Thank you so much for your help!!
Yes, my guess was correct. When you created Meeting, you added a field called "Meeting Data" instead of "Meeting Date". So when you tried to import, the import file column header "Meeting Date" couldn't find a matching column (field) in your Meeting object so it couldn't import.
I corrected it for you to Meeting Date and now the import will work.
Hello, I tried to change the field to "Meeting Date", but I am still running into the same problem. I have completed the 3 steps so that you can access my account!
Sure, so there's a posting about that in the Help FAQ here but basically, that message means that there is a column in the data file, Meeting Date (not "Data"), that can't find an exactly match in the columns you defined for the Meeting object you're trying to import into. Computers are picky and exact spelling counts, so if you called the field "Meeting Data" when you added it to your Meeting object, then it's not going to match the Meeting Date header in the import file and it won't work.
Check the name you gave for that field in Meeting and if it says "Meeting Data" then edit and fix it to say "Meeting Date" and then try again.
If that doesn't turn out to be the problem or that fix doesn't work, let then do these 3 steps so I can access your account and let me know when you've done them, ok?
