Step 56 is to click the plus new contact tab that drops down, however, it won't let me do that for some reason and therefore I can't move on to my other steps

Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

Just tried firefox still didn't work
Ok, checking now. And again, did you set those security settings for your browser?
I see. It just says "complete this field". Ok. Do those steps and I'll take a look.
BTW - did you set your browser's security settings according to what was given at the top of the cover sheet in Lab 1a? It sounds like a possible browser issue to me. Maybe download Firefox and try that.
Sorry I can't read the error message due to the low resolution of your screencap. Can you tell me what it says in red there below the Contact Name slot?
Also, do these 3 steps so I can access your account. Let me know when you've done them, ok?
Log in and click on the character icon (upper right) and click My Settings
On the left, under My Personal Information, click Grant Account Login Access below that
On the row for The Max Labs Project Support, use the --No Access-- pull-down menu to select 1 month and click Save
