Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

Before you post make sure you check the Help FAQ for an instant solution first. Then, if you can't find it there, you can post your problem here and we'll get to it ASAP (within 24 hours), but be sure you:

Lab 2b Import Error

When I try to import the necessary information, I get an email that all of them have failed. This is for steps 17-20 on Lab 2b. I have tried double-checking spelling and I also still have 2 that are unmapped.

Abby, the records won't import because each one has to find it's matching Pitch record that it goes with. But since you didn't do much of Lab 1b, you don't have the 10 Pitch records they they are looking for, so they all fail.

Also, the unmapped issue is due to you not adding the Email field when you created the Meeting object.

So the problem now is that you have one Pitch record that you created in Lab 2a and it's ID is P-002. That means that if you tried to import the Pitch records now, they would get ID's running from 003 to 012. Then they wouldn't match up with the Meeting records and when you tried to import the Meeting records some would import but connect to the wrong Pitch records and others would not import at all.

So the best thing to do at this point is to get a brand new fresh SF account and catch up to where you were as fast as possible. Email me at tim.hill@themaxlabsproject.com and I'll give you the instructions with the shortcuts and a promo code that you can use to avoid paying again for Max's Pitch Package.

Sounds like something got messed up that is preventing the import from working properly. Do these 3 steps so I can access your account and I'll take a look. Let me know when you've done them, ok?

Log in and click on the character icon (upper right) and click My Settings
On the left, under My Personal Information, click Grant Account Login Access below that
On the row for The Max Labs Project Support, use the --No Access-- pull-down menu to select 1 month and click Save
