Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

explain the problem clearly
Not seeing the "New Opportunity" tag in step 22 of Lab 2a. I don't know if I am in the wrong page of salesforce or what but I'm on the pitches tab of the Marketing app launcher and I cannot see the new opp. tab. The tabs just show 'new' , 'change owner', 'import', and 'printable view'.
Yeah, you're on the wrong screen, alright. Normally, after Step 22, you would be on the screen showing the details of the one record that you just created in Steps 19, 20 and 21. That's the Julia Chaves/Spray & Pray Ventures record. You can see it's there, at the top of the list in the Pitch Everything screencap you posted. So just click on the blue Pitch ID for that one and it will open up it's details and then, on that screen, you'll see the New Opportunity button and the down-arrow next to it that you need to click on.
