I'm having trouble with this step. Can you show a way to do this step regarding in removing fields fro pitch's object page layout?

Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

You have to hover the cursor over the field, like Pitch Date, that you want to delete, like it says in Step 87 and then click the minus sign that appears. But the screencap you posted is the very top of the Pitch Layout page - that's NOT where you hover & delete stuff. It's down below that like this:
