Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

If you look at the cover page, you'll see it says in great big bolded letters to be sure to follow the instructions when you get your account by following the link given by Max and make sure you DON'T go to Salesforce's home page and get the 30-day free trial account because that won't work. But that's what you did so you'll need to get a new account and start over at Step 5 of Lab 1b and I'll email you a promo code so you can install Max's Pitch Package without paying again.
