Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

Well, Salesforce changed the name of the Marketing app last Spring and we updated the instructions but it appears your instructor hasn't given you the latest version. Please email me at tim.hill@themaxlabsproject.com so I can let them know about this. You'll want to be using the latest version of the instructions or things may not work.
The error message on your screen has nothing to do with the version, though. That's a different problem. I think it may be a temporary network glitch and if you logged out and back in and then tried again it might work. If not, then you might have the 30-day free trial account which won't work for these labs. I can't tell if you do because you cut off the top of the Salesforce window where it might say how many days are left in your free trial. If so, then that account won't work and you need to get a new one using the instructions and link that Max gave in Lab 1a, page 2.
If you do need to get a new account, and you already finished Lab 1a, you don't need to redo it. With a brand new account, you can start Lab 1b, beginning at Step 5. But you will need to install the grader again when you want to score your work.
