Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

explain the problem clearly
1-The drop down Arrow next to "column header" for the creation of the report does not give me the option"Group Rows by This Field" as suggested on the intructions (see screenshot below). Is that due to the SF version I have or am I looking at the wrong Drop drow Arrow?
2- Is that the reason why the dashboard "Dispplay As" function does not give an option to select a graph to diplay that report? Or those two issues are not related? (See second screenshot below)
For (2), that is due to missing a step leading up to that point. I forget which one it is but start the dashboard part over and be sure you get each step done and the gauge option (rainbow) should start showing then. If you can't get it to work, let me know and I'll try to find the exact step that is causing it for you, ok?
