Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

explain the problem clearly
Create new view isn't showing up and when I searched up how to do it on the salesforce website it said "If you don’t see Create New View, you don’t have the “Create and Customize List Views” permission. Contact your Salesforce admin to request it." Do I have to contact my teacher or is there another way.
No you don't need any permission. If you read carefully and look at the screencaps in the instructions, you just click on that tiny gear that is showing in your screencap on the upper right, under the New button and that will bring down a menu where you can choose New. See in the instructions screencap how the arrow points to the little gear icon. Then in the next screencap, there is a red arrow showing how the menu drops down and another arrow pointing to "New"?
