Sorry again for the trouble but I can't add a tab to the main taskbar and I'm completely lost. I think I have the lightning experience which says to go here to do it but honestly idk.

Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

So the screencap you're showing looks correct for Step 16 - you just need to scroll that panel down so you can see more of it and find Pitches in the list of Available tabs there on the lower left and move it over to the Selected Tabs list on the right as described in Step 17. Then keep following the steps and that will place the Pitches tab into the Marketing App for you. It won't show up except when you have used the App Launcher to go into the Marketing App and then you'll see it.
Not sure what you mean about Step 30 - were you having trouble finding the Pitches app after already doing those steps? Just go to the App Launcher (the grid of nine dots on the upper left of your screencap there) and select Marketing and then you should see the Pitches tab if you have already done 17, 18 and 19. That's what Step 20 tells you.
Computers are super picky so you need to follow each and every step carefully to make them work. It's worth going slowly to make sure you get it right the first time so you don't have to go back and fix stuff later. Just do every step and get each one right and you'll have zero problems, ok?
