I have put in my username and received a link to my email to reset the password several times even though the password is correct. When I am trying to reset the password I am given a security that I know is correct; however, it is saying the answer to my security question is incorrect making my credentials invalid. I have tried all day yesterday and today to login to my account as I am done MaxLab 1a and almost done MaxLab 1b, and would not want to redo the hundreds of steps to make another account that may be faulty. Is there anyone or anyway I can resolve this issue of logging in. Thank you!

Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

Yeah, sometimes your email system blocks those pw reset emails, thinking they are spam, and it doesn't even get them to you in your spam folder. The only way to deal with it then is to contact Salesforce support - only they can get you back in but they don't really support these free accounts we use so they may not help you but you can try. Just Google their support contact info.
If that doesn't work, you'll have to abandon that account and get a new one but you won't have to pay again and you may not need to redo everything. If you already had your grade certificate for Lab 1a downloaded. Then all you would need to do with the new account is start Lab 1b at Step 5 and go on from there. And you can email me at tim.hill@themaxlabsproject.com to get a promo code so you don't have to pay to install Max's Pitch Package again.
At least, now that you have done the steps, if you have to redo them it goes pretty fast - should only take around 45-50 minutes to redo 1b and around 30 to redo 1a if you have to.
Sorry for the hassle. If you do wind up getting a new account, be sure you take note of your pw and security question answer, etc. so you won't run into that again. Maybe consider getting a new free Gmail account just for these labs too, so there is no system spam filter that will block pw recovery emails coming from SF if you do wind up needing those again.
Good luck. Let me know, ok?
