I was working on lab 1A and got to question 83 and was asked to install the SF app on my phone. I went and installed the app, but it wanted my answer to a security question which was what town I was born in, and I know it gave the right answer and it said it is wrong. I don't know if I would have been to use my login there, because I never got that far. Also, when I tried to install Grader it asked for my SF login info to be used to set it up, and it would not accept my info saying the user name and password did not match. I know I used the correct info.
This assignment is due Friday, the 10th, so I need help right away.
Thank you
Yeah, we're aware of that problem, Clayton. It's a Salesforce issue. When you were first getting your account, you probably filled in the form and clicked Submit and when nothing happened right away you probably clicked Submit again and maybe again and later on you got 2 or 3 or more Welcome emails from Salesforce, one for each of 2 or 3 accounts, all with the same username! Each email includes a unique custom URL for logging into that account but the username is the same across accounts. Now different ones have different security questions and answers, etc. It's a mess due to the bug at Salesforce, sorry.
We're working with Salesforce to address this but in the meantime, the best option is to just get a new account but this time, when you get the account, make absolutely certain you set some completely different username and that you click Submit only one time no matter what. Then you will have one account with that one username that should behave properly from now on.
Then you should be able to log into the mobile app and install the grader app, etc just fine. And it shouldn't take too long to redo what you did because, now that you've done it once, you'll be able to zoom right through it.
Are you ok with that? If you feel strongly about keeping the 1a work you've already done, let me know and I'll give you some instructions for how to do that first and then get the new account for the other labs.
