Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

"There are problems that present this package from being installed"

in Lab 1a

Hello, I have installed the grader and strictly followed the rules, however, I keep getting this pop up when I try to execute the "max_labs_grades.score.lab1a();" code. When I tried to recheck the grader installment itself I got a strange pop up then too. I also made sure to allow cookies and turn off ad/pop up blockers so I'm not sure what to do. Please advise! Thank you.

Well, the error about the upgrade is just from trying to install the grader app when it is already installed. The other error is from a mistake using the grader app. Try watching the movies at the top of the page to see exactly how to use it and let me know, ok?

It looks like the two screencaps above must be from different accounts. The one above shows no Max grader app, but the one below shows it is installed. I suspect, when you were getting your account, you clicked Submit more than once while you were waiting and then you wound up with multiple Welcome emails, each representing a separate account, all with the same username. That can cause this kind of confusion.

Check your email and see if you have multiple Welcome emails from Salesforce. If so, that's the problem. You did the work in one account but you installed the grader in another one where no work has been done yet.

Even tho all the accounts have the same username, each has a unique custom domain that is created just for that one account. That is how you tell them apart. Each email contains a special URL/link they give you for logging into that account. The part AFTER the "https://" is the unique domain for that account.

To make sure you're logging into a certain account, click the login link in the email when you log in. Then check to see if your PItch object you made is there by going to Setup > Object Manager to see if it's listed. If so, then that is the account containing your work. Note the custom domain for that account. Copy it from the email (everything AFTER the https:// part).

Now go to install the grader but when the installer asks you to log in, enter your username and pw and then, before you log in, click Use Custom Domain which appears on the login panel on the lower right. Then paste in the domain in the popup. That will ensure the grader app is being installed in that account with that custom domain. Then you will have both your work and your grader in the same account.

And always be sure to use that one login link to log in from now on. Also make sure you use the same process, with the Use Custom Domain step, when you install Max's Pitch Package in Lab 1b.
