Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

its still not working
Well, the error message you're seeing is due to you putting in the quotes. The quotes in the instructions are meant to just show you that what's in between should be entered exactly as it shows. But you're not supposed to include the quotes themselves - just what's between them.
But a much bigger problem I see is that you got the wrong kind of Salesforce account and it won't work for these labs. You got the 30-day free trial account. In Max's instructions on page 2 of Lab 1a, she says to be sure NOT to get that kind. Instead she said to follow the link she gave to get the other kind (the Developer Edition). You're going to need to get one of those to use for these and just abandon the one you have now, ok? Good thing we caught this early for you.
To avoid issues with the labs, be sure to read all the instructions carefully, including the cover page (where there was also a bold red, all-caps warning about this) and the text between the steps too. That's where you are actually learning what you're doing and why, ok?
