Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

You got the 30-day free trial account. Max's instructions say to be sure NOT to get the 30-day free trial account. It won't work for these assignments. She gave you a link to get a Developer Edition account and she said to be sure to use that link instead. You'll need to use that link to get the proper account. And be sure to follow her instructions exactly, then it will work.
Computers are super-picky so it's important to take your time and read carefully and follow each and every instruction, ok? Then you will have no problems.
