When trying to login to SF throuh Max, it will not let me because it says password is incorrect even though I know it is correct because I was able to change it. I also know that my username is correct becuase I verified that.

Sorry you're stuck but there's almost always a pretty easy fix! Do NOT try to start all over again, eg. uninstall Max's Pitch Package, etc. That can make things worse.

Ok, go into your email and find the verification email that SF sent you when you first got your account. In that email you will find the username you set when you filled out the form. And you will see the unique URL (link) that they created for your account and they told you to use that to log in easily from now on so click on that to log in with that username and see if that solve it. It should, but let me know, ok?
