TextEdit is an app on all Macs. You would find it just like you find any app on your Mac. You could use the Launcher or you could use Spotlight or the Finder or just look in the Apps folder.

@Madeline Awwad Well, you didn't need to start over again - you could have just gone on from Step 10 as I told you but since you did start over, the grader was confused - you had 3 pitch objects at that point. I got rid of the one I had restored for you and fixed the name of the new one you created today (you named it "pitch date" at first) and then I regraded it for you and now you have 77% for your certificate. Congratulations!

Well, you have to click that setting in Step 21 to get the box for typing in for Step 22. Did you do that?

If Step 21 isn't opening the text box for you to do Step 22, then you have a browser issue. The settings you need for each browser are listed at the top of the cover sheet for Lab 1a. Make sure you have the right settings for your browser and try again.

Ok, I looked at your account and your 1a object still is totally empty so that's why you're getting 3 pts. It still shows you never added any fields to it or any data into it after you added the fields. So you only have the part up to Step 10. To get more points, you would need to go to Setup > Object Manager > pitch (lower case - that's your pitch object from 1a). And then start with Step 11 and do the rest of the lab and then regrade to get the points.

I would need to know which step and which lab you're talking about. And if you could post a screencap that would be super-helpful.

just the same way you deleted it last time. go to Setup > Object Manager > pitch and click on Details on the left and then lick on the Delete button. Let me know if you're unable to manage that and I can do it for you if needed.

Ok, yes, so I got into your account and checked the audit log. I could see you created an object on 6/8 at 6:43pm. You named it "pitch" with a lowercase "p" but you never added any fields to it and never added any records. Then on 6/15, at 10:32am, you deleted it and 14 minutes later, you installed Max's Pitch Package and got the new Pitch object it includes.

So I undeleted your "pitch" object and ran the grader and the error message about not having a Pitch object went away and you got 3%. But now you would need to complete Lab 1a, adding the fields and data, etc to be able to get more points. Once you do, just run the grader again and the points will show up.

After you get that finished & graded, you should delete the "pitch" object again so you won't confuse it with the one from Max's Pitch Package.
